The Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Facility (CRF) at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham was established using a Wellcome Trust Millennial Grant for Clinical Research Facilities. The Wellcome Trust, which is Britain’s largest biomedical charity, launched its £18 million initiative in order to strengthen clinical research in the National Health Service. |

The Birmingham Cancer Centre is the first of a series of Cancer Research UK funded Cancer Centres to be established across the UK.
